In recent days, many residents living along the road have expressed frustration over the severe blockage of the drainage system, which has caused a strong, unpleasant odor. The accumulation of waste over time, combined with stagnant dirty water, has led to pollution on the sidewalks, affecting people's daily lives. According to locals, the drainage system here is clogged with plastic bags, styrofoam boxes, decayed leaves, and various other types of waste, along with a thick layer of mud. Whenever it rains, the water cannot drain properly, causing flooding on the sidewalks, creating an unsightly and hazardous situation for pedestrians. Most notably, the overwhelming stench becomes even more unbearable, especially during the hot midday sun. In response to this issue, our environmental volunteer group has taken action to clear and unclog the drainage system. Using specialized tools, we removed large chunks of waste, restoring the smooth flow of the drainage system. We also pulled out weeds and thoroughly cleaned the sidewalks, creating a much more pleasant and visually appealing environment. After the cleanup, the flooding situation has significantly improved, and the air has become fresher.
