We traveled over 32km in freezing weather to clean up the sidewalks overgrown with weeds and littered with trash. The situation was even worse in some areas where the sidewalks had been burned by locals, leaving behind charred black patches. The work was extremely exhausting, but our fatigue quickly faded thanks to the warm appreciation from the local people.
