The process of clearing nearly 1km of sidewalk covered with weeds surprised local residents. Today is Valentine's Day, and we wish all couples a truly happy day together. We wish you good health! Today, our volunteer team started cleaning up a nearly 1km stretch of sidewalk overgrown with wild grass. This area was once one of the busiest and most desirable places in the city. However, due to minor paperwork issues with the authorities, a small number of residents had to relocate, leaving the area abandoned. Over time, wild grass spread uncontrollably, covering the walkway, with some spots growing as high as knee level. Local residents had grown accustomed to the neglected appearance, so they were surprised to see the entire sidewalk cleared within just one day. Using only simple tools like hoes, shovels, and brooms, our team worked tirelessly to remove the overgrown grass, gradually revealing the walkway. Even the deep-rooted weeds were completely uprooted to prevent regrowth. After clearing the area, I swept and collected the remaining trash to restore a clean and open space. The locals watching our efforts couldn’t hide their excitement.
