UDO: Super 8 Plus and Ribbon Controller - Superbooth 25

We spoke to *George* from *UDO* about their latest updates and instruments at Superbooth 2025 in Berlin. George introduced us to the *Super 8 Plus*, which is now boosted to to 20 voices through a voice card upgrade. George emphasized the ease of upgrading the voice card, comparing it to installing RAM in a computer. The voice card is already available for pre-order. This upgrade promises to align the Super 8 Plus with the Super Gemini in terms of technical specifications but remains compact and manageable, akin to the Super 6. George pointed out the inclusion of a ribbon controller input, expanding the expressive capabilities of the instrument. George then demonstrated UDO's new *Ribbon Controller*, designed to be used with both UDO synths and eurorack.
