Doepfer: New Modules - Superbooth 2025

We spoke to *Dieter Doepfer *and *Holger Zapf* from *Doepfer* who introduced the new *155 Compact Sequencer*, also known as the Mini Analog Sequencer. This 12 HP unit allowed you to run an 8-step sequence and offered options like selectable running modes, ratcheting per step, and potential preset storage, though some software features were still in development. Holger also presented a versatile two-channel preamp module that could interface with a variety of audio sources, from mobile devices to piezo inputs, also usable as a distortion unit. Dieter then introduced the* A149-3* module, inspired by the Buchla's fluctuating random voltages but with additional functionalities such as noise outputs and processing options. Finally, Dieter showcased an upgraded *ribbon controller* featuring quantization across nine user-programmable scales, pressure sensitivity, a MIDI interface, and more.
