Reliq Instruments: Reliq Control Surface - Superbooth 2025

We spoke to Kyriakos from Relic Instruments about the *Reliq*, a versatile Hybrid Control Surface demonstrated at Superbooth 2025. The Reliq combines a hardware sequencer, matrix mixer, and DAW controller into one large human-sized unit. It features an impressive array of connectivity options: 16 analog audio inputs and outputs, 32 control voltage outs, and various MIDI and USB connections. It includes a breakout module that connects via USB-C for seamless integration. The sequencer offers 16 steps per pattern, extendable to 1024 bars, allowing for intricate sequences. A standout feature is the matrix sequencer, enabling real-time module connections without audio clicks. The Relic supports external audio sources, offering flexibility for Eurorack and effects chains. With powerful internal processors, Relic aims to provide a detailed, intuitive workflow reminiscent of a hardware DAW. It supports multiple tracks with polyphonic capabilities and sophisticated automation.
