Remove the battery and memory card. Unscrew all exterior screws. Remove the bottom cover. Disconnect two ribbon cables and take out the back panel. Remove the front panel. Insulate the flash capacitor. Unscrew one screw and take out the left panel. Unscrew the silver plate screws. There is a wireless module in the lower-left corner—you need to remove it before taking out the silver plate. Take out the silver plate. Disconnect all the ribbon cables. Unscrew the screws holding the top part. Pop up the flash and remove the top part. Unscrew the logic board screws and take it out. Separate the flash capacitor and slightly move its cable. Unscrew one screw and remove the battery compartment. Write down the sensor distance readings from the camera chassis at three points. These three points are next to the three sensor screws and are on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Unscrew the three sensor screws. Unscrew the two small screws. Remove the sensor. Unscrew the two screws and remove the filter assembly. You can cut out the ultrasonic resonator from the first filter and attach it to the black frame. Otherwise, just disable the sensor cleaning function in the camera menu. Place the sensor back in the shutter assembly. Use the same gauge we used before to shift the sensor forward by 0.3 mm. Secure the three sensor screws with a drop of glue. Assemble the camera.
