Is Your Younger Self Proud of Who You Are Today?
Imagine sitting alone by a beautiful, quiet mountain lake, listening to the rippling water and the songs of the birds. Now, ask yourself—what would your younger self think of the person you’ve become today? Would they be proud? Or would they ask, "What happened to us?"
Today, I’m sharing my journey—how I went from chasing society’s definition of success to finally choosing a life that makes me happy. For years, I sacrificed my sleep, my health, and my time in pursuit of a dream that wasn’t even mine. I worked tirelessly, thinking that money and job titles would bring me fulfillment. But deep down, I felt empty.
I was just another person grinding through life, waiting for "one day" to start living.
Then, everything changed. I made a terrifying decision—I quit my job, stepped into the unknown, and chose adventure over comfort. Now, I'm out here in the wild, cooking lobster soup by the lake, feeling more alive than I ever have.
If you’ve ever felt trapped in the cycle of work, stress, and chasing expectations, this video is for you. Life is happening right now, and time won’t wait. Maybe it’s time to take that first step toward a life that truly fulfills you.

I’m a former Marine, father, and husband with an MIT background working in the tech industry. After 20 years of pushing myself relentlessly, I hit a breaking point. That’s when I realized there are more important things in life than just money and success. Since then, I’ve slowed down and learned to enjoy the simple things in life, especially spending time with my family and being out in nature.
I want to share my experiences and journey with you so we can focus on what truly matters in life: our health, our family, and finding joy in the present moment.
