[HSK 2.15.1] Let’s learn要…了- the FUTURE tense in Chinese 快要/快/要…了。 Something is about to happen. Sub+快要/快/要+Verb+了。 Sub+kuài yào /kuài /yào +Verb+le。 ------- 爷爷+快要/快/要+ 来+了。 yé ye +kuài yào /kuài /yào + lái +le 。 Grandpa is about to come. --- 我们+快要/快/要+考试 +了。 wǒ men +kuài yào /kuài /yào +kǎo shì +le 。 We are going to have a test. ----- Please pay attention. If the sentence is with a time adverb, we can only use “就要jiù yào”.
