How I pot Vanda Orchids - About media & root adaptation

Today I take you along as I pot up my recently purchased Vanda Orchid! 🦋 More info below! 🦋 First of all, I soak the roots very well in order to make them more flexible. This is necessary to limit root damage and make them fir in a pot a lot easier. The medium I use is my standard bark and moss mix, with a ratio much higher of bark. Moss will make sure that water will be retained and dispersed, but it will not be excessive. I pay close attention to the watering needs and I try not to over do it by simply controlling the amount of water I pour through the pot.
