How to know what's wrong with a Phalaenopsis Orchid from its leaves

Limp, leathery leaves: dehydration, but it can be cause by simply a lack of watering, or loss of roots! Smaller leaves: always a sign of stress and set back. 4. Chlorosis spots: most of the times spider mites and infection with OFV. Red pigmentation: Natural color, especially if the orchid has purple flowers, or contains red or purple colors in the flowers. Intense light, or cold temperatures if the case can apply.
