Of course, it would!! This week, I will be discussing how important it is to have a solid diversity recruitment plan in order to create a wide diverse applicant pool for your organization. There are some great programs that can aid in creating an increased flow of candidates if properly conducted. One of these programs is a favorite of mine which I can not wait to share with you guys! Along with the various programs, I will also cover how important it is to get to know your applicant’s network. I know this tactic may seem like extra work but it can actually help you more than you think when it comes to keeping your applicant pool flowing. As a diversity recruiter, it can be a challenge trying to keep up with the demands of your organization and the demands of the job market itself to fill open positions.
