We have to use all our strength to rake, shovel, and carry loads, sometimes even digging to remove things stuck deep in the pavement. The stench, the dust covering our bodies, and the sweat dripping under the scorching sun make the task even more exhausting. Every meter of cleaned sidewalk feels like a small victory, yet the road ahead remains long and challenging.
