For a few more years, Viserys stomachs these insults until one day, he decides at last to challenge the aging captain-general for control of the Golden Company. Though already in his forties at the time, old Myles accepts this duel and soundly defeats Viserys, killing him in the process. Although an accident, it is one few are bothered by.
