ULTIMATE Router Table with Bit Storage / DIY

I made a router table using acrylic. Whenever I used the router, I used to think of a structure where the motor and bit inside could be seen. I thought that installing LED lights there would be more comfortable when working. The top plate is made of 20mm thick acrylic, and the fence is made of acrylic and illuminated. I also made a bit drawer at the bottom, and I used the rails of the bit drawer as a power line, so I worked on it without the need for a separate wire. The LED in the bit drawer is designed to be turned on only when the drawer is opened. The electric wire of the fence is made in the form of an iron spring, so when the fence moves, the wire moves comfortably. Since the dust collection tube at the top is connected to the closed space at the bottom of the motor to collect dust at once, there is little dust coming out. I wanted to show you that the router table can also be made for interior purposes. If you look closely at the video, you can see that each part of the work contains a lot of tips. Please refer to that, and I hope it will help you create a cooler router table. You may think that the top will be severely scratched because it is made of transparent acrylic. However, I made it easy to remove the top plate. So after some use, I'm thinking of sanding the top with about 600 grit of sand to make it milky translucent, or making the top again with wood. The transparent state is so pretty that I'll be using it for the time being.
