In this video, we take an in-depth look at UIGEN-T2-7B, a newly released model fine-tuned from Qwen2.5 Coder 7B. Trained on 50,000+ UI/UX HTML and CSS examples, this model is specifically designed to generate clean, styled, and well-documented web templates using HTML and Tailwind CSS.
We run the model locally, and put it through a series of tasks to evaluate its real-world usability for frontend and interface generation. This includes single-shot site creation, multi-turn design improvement, and tests to check style consistency, instruction-following, and layout control.
In addition, we compare its performance with GLM-4 9B, and test its boundaries with refusal scenarios. From landing pages to blogs to basic UI logic, UIGEN-T2 shows clear potential for developer-augmented design workflows.
