In this video, we take a look at THUDM GLM-4-9B-0414, a newly released 9 billion parameter model from THUDM’s latest lineup. This model demonstrates particularly strong performance in web development, UI generation, and visual design tasks.
We start by covering model considerations and the settings used to run it locally on a dual 3090 Ti system in LM Studio. From there, we move into real-world testing, beginning with a retro synthwave-style Python game, followed by Pygame-based testing.
The real highlight, however, comes during the web design, SVG generation, and JavaScript testing phases, where the model successfully builds a fully functional retro-style web Pong game. The JS/HTML skills demonstrated by the model were extremely impressive, especially considering the fully working results it delivered without extensive prompting.
