Today we're discussing one of the bench press techniques that allowed me to massively improve my position and strength. This is to 'extend your neck' during the setup. This position will allow for proper shoulder anchoring. Sometimes beginners have a tough time properly positioning the shoulders. That was also my problem when I started this movement. But after learning a lot on bench technique, focusing on extending the neck, getting the shoulders towards the hips, I found my positioning and strength really improve.
