NOTE: There is a more up to date video at
https://youtu.be/Jv5TCqBwMhI which covers iNav 2.6 onwards.
There have been a few videos and tutorials showing how to automatically raise and lower the power level of your VTx; using iNav Logic Conditions and Global Functions. The problem with them is that they are always based on your distance from home. But, an RC plane doesn't just fly along the ground. It has the 3D expanse of the sky to cover distance in. This auto power adjustment program takes that into consideration. It will base the distance on an imaginary line between the home point and the model, both vertically and horizontally. Therefore, you can fly away from you in any direction, and the VTx power will increase or decrease based on the ranges you set.
I call the is the ultimate auto VTx power adjustment with iNav Logic Conditions. However, the real ultimate would be using the RSSI of the VRx. But this is not available at this time. So this is really the ultimate based on distance.

Please like and comment on this iNav Feature Request. If implemented, it will make this program simpler, and make it safer for pilots flying below their home position. https://github.com/iNavFlight/inav/issues/6151
