Richard Feldman: Roc, a cutting edging functional programming language and Zed AI, a new way to code

I had the honor to have an conversation with Richard Feldman (@SoftwareUnscripted ) about Roc, the programming language that he created and the why and how a software engineer should care about AI. Roc (https://www.roc-lang.org/) is a fast, friendly, functional language that has a unique design that separates platforms from application code. In my opinion, it might be the most cutting edging programming language in terms of engineering design amongst modern program languages. Richard is also workong on Zed AI. It is the AI capabilities of the Zed code editor. He shared how he thought about AI tools both as a user of them and as a builder of such a tool and why we should care as software engineers.
