Prestressed Concrete Design - 6 - Example 3 - Strain Compatibility with Composite Sections (2/15/21)

This is an updated version of a previously uploaded example problem. This example problem is part of Module 6 in my Prestressed Concrete Design course on calculating stresses using strain compatibility approach (decompression force and moments). Non-composite and composite transformed section properties, strain at centroid, curvature, and strains at stresses are found for a double tee prestressed concrete section with a composite topping and applied sustained and live load moments. Linear elastic material properties are assumed for this problem. This problem expands on earlier examples by using non-composite and composite section properties.
