In this video Bunny explains why she prefers planting the larger bulbs such as tulips, many alliums, and more later on rather than in the autumn. Many contractors buy and plant at this time as the price is heavily slashed. Tulip bulbs are more vulnerable to tulip Fire, the dreaded disease, the longer they are in the soil so later planting in wet areas is far better. Also bulbs are less vulnerable to squirrels if they are in the soil for less time.
