Lost Flying Blind GPS Rescue Saved Long Range FPV Mounting Surfing Quad

Our first Long Range Mountain surfing FPV flight almost ended in disaster. The flight up and around the mountain was educational, but on the way back I got lost, couldn't find the Home Point and had to fly using GPS Rescue Mode for almost 90 seconds. GPS Rescue saved the day. The lessons learned are noted at the end of the video. This flight was 2.66 miles out about 1 mile climb using the 7 inch quad. The mountain is 6315ft ASL, and about a 5200 feet climb. Complete boring video of the flight with OSD data, narration and pilot comments. Testing a pair of O.R.T. 6 turn helical antennas.
