Look Me In The Eye | ENA inspired/type beat
I'M THE BUS/I can't tell if it's a dream anymore. Le Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/7nvIRSMYJcr4dNUbOkzdGB?si=hMLWBbvqR_2n9QJ9_9Tc4Q A month ago, when ENA Dream BBQ came out, I started listening a lot to Oliver Buckland's music (cuz he's one of the main composers for the whole ENA series in general) and the feeling it gave me inspired this song, following a voodoo kind-of-thing? (Aronou, the concept changed a lot throughout the making). I tried to mimic his weirdness and added a lil' bit of mine too. Most of this weirdness comes from him increasing/decreasing the pitch (by like 20 cents or so) to take you out of the usual 440 hz tuning everything uses; thankfully I could do that with this VST. So, why did it take a month to make? Well, it didn't. Thing is, I set some parts of the song to have some component of the sound itself to be random, panning, small pitch changes, both; stuff like that, and sometimes when exporting a version, the results of these random outputs just weren't good. So the song itself was finished like 2 weeks ago, but I just couldn't get a good version (gambling core?). On top of this, I literally could NOT listen to the song inside musescore, because using any VST is too much for my laptop (the playback sounds all chopped and clipped), so every time I added/changed something, I had to export it to confirm it sounded how I imagined it (and in average, it took at least 45 mins to do so ha HAAAAAA). I brought that upon myself ik, but I was too deep already to bail out. The animation was eh... pain, for such simple effects, all frames were made in ibis Paint cuz I lack of animating software and later merged in an editing software. This time I replaced the usual sheet music of the song for the animatic. I know the sheet music is kind of the core of my videos, but I really wanted to bring this idea to reality, I don't think it will be the norm thought. I think that's all NO WAIT THE THUMBNAIL YES, ITS BEAUTIFUL ISN'T IT??? I POURED THE UNIVERSE'S ETHER INTO A JELLY MOLD AND HOLY SHIT YOU WOULD NOT BELIVE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KITCHE- This video is a gamble, the coin being a month of my life and the possible price: a breakthrough in the algorithm, I really want to make music for a living and if doing all this is what it takes, I won't stop (NEVER GIVE UP NEVER WHAT?! ⁿᵉᵛᵉʳ ᵍᶦᵛᵉ ᵘᵘᵘᵘᵖ). In case it flops well, it doesn't matter, 300 ppl is quite the audience and I'm thankful for even having one. But yeah uhhhhhhhh… I don't mind my music being used, just credit me please, not like anyone actually uses my song HAHA but, just in case :D or else.
