Baking sourdough bread in a loaf pan is so easy! In this video, I'll show you how I like to do it. This is perfect for those who prefer a more classic loaf shape. It's also ideal if you don't want to invest in special equipment, like bannetons or a Dutch oven. Ingredients: 300g water (use 20-30g more water if you are using a more popular bread flour, like King Arthur) 100g starter 500g Caputo Americana 00 flour 10g salt TIMESTAMPS: Intro: 00:00-2:04 Mixing the dough: 2:05-11:52 Feed your starter: 11:53-14:13 Stretch and folds/coil fold: 14:14-20:15 Bulk fermentation progress updates: 20:16-22:17 Shaping: 22:18-26:17 Baking: 26:18-32:23 Cooling: 32:24-34:22 Reveal: 34:23-34:43 Timeline: Mix dough: 10am Stretch and fold 1: 11am Stretch and fold 2: 11:35am Stretch and fold 3: 12:35am Coil fold: 2:10pm Bulk fermentation is done: 5:30pm (so it took 7.5 hours) Shaping & put in fridge overnight: 5:30pm Baked next day at 1:10pm (can bake any time!)
