Frank O'Cain provides a unique approach for painting during a trip, using a combination of oil medium, egg yolk and tubed watercolors. The result has many characteristics of oil but is very light to carry, quick to dry, and easy to use. The demo also covers many principles of creating a lyrical abstract painting. Frank O'Cain is an important instructor at the Art Students League of New York who has, introduced generations of students to the basic principles of Abstract Painting developed by Cezanne and Hans Hofmann.
