Hey there, my name is Cory and I am an artist who makes environmental and ecological inspired artwork. Almost 8 months ago I worked on a project where I made homemade paper from plants (well grass to be exact!) and printed digital photography onto it simply by running it through my laser printer. But laser printers have their limitations, so in this video I experiment with two different techniques I've never tried on the grass paper — film-free decals and cyanotype!
Since I last printed on grass paper, I have really been wanting to run with the idea and make something large scale. The experiments and results from this video really helped me figure out what options I have for creating such artwork in the near future!
Thanks so much for checking out the video, stay tuned for more, and let me know if you like the cyanotype or decal better!
Materials and tools I used in this video:
DIY grass paper (

Brush
Hair dryer
Jacquard cyanotype kit
Transparency film
Glass (from picture frame)
Laser printer
