DIY Long Langstroth Hive Build

Making new wood equipment each year brings new excitement. This hive is based on the designs from HorizontalHive.com, and we based our build from their plans. It is built from two by materials vs the standard, one by materials of conventional Langstroth hives. The long design allows for 30 deep frames, while eliminating the need to lift heavy boxes on and off during inspections. Our horizontal hive plans are slightly modified, mainly for aesthetics.
