CNC machine your own furniture, with the DeskProto CAM software

Creating furniture can be easy: see how we CNC machined some extra seats. You can make this stool as well: both the DXF file and the Free edition of DeskProto are FREE downloads at www.deskproto.com. Three parts per seat, machined in plywood following a 2D DXF design by www.cncrouterdesign.com. The toolpaths are created using the DeskProto CAM software, total machining time per seat was 8.5 minutes. When using the Free edition of DeskProto you need to run the same NC file three times, with different zero points, as the Free edition does not include roughing options.
