Classic Flintknapping Experiment: Stone Age Long Blades, (subtitles) Sagnlandet Lejre, Denmark
French archaeologist and master flintknapper, Jacques Pelegrin, demonstrates how to manufacture replicas of long flint blades from the Stone Age. This task requires extremely demanding craftsmanship and comprehensive knowledge of flint.
The experiment took place at Historical-Archaeological Research Centre at Lejre, Denmark, 1993-94 (now Sagnlandet Lejre). The flint experiments conducted in Lejre have since achieved classic status in the field of experimental archaeology.
