Careful composition on Seilebost | Hebridean Landscape Photography Adventure | Autumn 2024 (Ep. 3)

The third instalment in a series documenting my autumn landscape photography trip to Scotland's Outer Hebrides. In this episode, I'm on West Harris. I have an uninspiring sunrise shoot at Horgabost where I make the most of sunny conditions to drink some Chinese tea. I then move on to Seilebost, a beach I have never visited before. I think about when it's worth cloning to tidy up and image and I explore the tension between rushing to capture good light and having too much time to set up and trying to make the best of flat light.
