I Tried Fine Art Photography – Here’s What Happened!

Hello folks! How’s it going? I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your Wednesday! Fine art photography is a style I’ve always admired, but trying to create it myself? That’s a whole different challenge. In this week's video, I head to Sandymount Beach to see if I can capture the kind of images I’ve long been inspired by. Now, right off the bat, I know this particular style of photography isn’t for everyone, and that’s totally understandable. This leads to a broader debate about post-processing images and so on, but that’s a discussion for another day. For now, I really wanted to capture this style of image because I’m a huge fan, and I love the aesthetic that photographing in this manner creates. What better day to experiment than today, and at such a beautiful location—Sandymount Beach on the coast of Dublin? Overall, I’m delighted with the results. While there was plenty of trial and error, I feel like I’ve learned many new skills along the way. I also have to give a shout-out to @GaryGough who has been a huge inspiration to me when it comes to creating these kinds of images.
