On December 8th of 2019 police conducted a welfare check at a house in Jonesboro, Arkansas in response to a missing Alissa Reynolds. Alissa had made digital contact with others over the week leading up to December 8th but it had been 5 days since anyone saw her alive in person.
December 2nd, security cameras at her place of employment, the Axis Manufacturing Facility in Paragould, captured Alissa leaving her job at
5:03pm dressed in jeans and a pink pull-over top. Alissa’s neighbour spotted her on his home surveillance system arriving at her residence 35 minutes later at
5:38pm. This would be the last time anyone would see Alissa Reynolds alive again.
The aforementioned welfare check to Alissa’s home on the evening of December 8th was actually the second one of the day. When cops performed the first one, no one answered the door. Without reason for further investigation, police left the residence only to return again that evening. While there was still no sign of forced entry, officers were greeted by the foul stench of decomposition as they approached the door of the house.
With understandable cause for concern, police made their way inside the residence. The following bodycam footage shows exactly what officers discovered on the other side of that door. This is OneCrimeTM, with true crime from Jonesboro, Arkanasas.
What happened to Alissa Reynolds? Who murdered her and where is her boyfriend Shawn Cone?
