Soldier, author, and poet Luke Ryan is a stalwart American with a unique perspective on what it means to be American. From his humble upbringing in the mountains of Pakistan to his time as a US Army Ranger, Ryan’s life has been encompassed by sacrifice, service, and storytelling. From the beginnings of organized warfare to America’s 20-year involvement in the Global War on Terrorism, there has been a rare breed of warrior poets who have answered the call not just to fight, but to be a voice for those who may not otherwise be able to articulate their experiences.
