You can’t use Notion without understanding databases. Instead of aimlessly trying to figure out what you don’t know, use this video as a jumping-off point to explore all the complex things that exist under the Notion database umbrella. We’re taking a simple goal tracker and building it step by step—beginner, intermediate, and advanced. By the end, if you can’t create every single goal tracker on the market, you should probably watch it again.
Beginner: A straightforward goal tracker using properties, checkboxes, and a progress bar. Perfect if you’re just getting started with databases.
Intermediate: Adding linked database views and rollups to track goals across different perspectives.
Advanced: Implementing nested databases for more granular goal tracking, allowing for better organization and deeper insights.
