Balochistan Food since 100 Years | Best Street Food of Quetta | Mutton Rosh of Gulab Hotel
Exploring Balochistan’s Food Culture has always been on my bucket list, and this time, we finally made it happen! Join me as I take you through the best traditional food in Quetta and beyond, experiencing the rich flavors of Balochi cuisine like never before. Our journey begins with a power-packed desi nashta at Jan’s Broast in Quetta. This place is famous for its authentic Pakistani breakfast, offering everything from nihari, paya, haleem, halwa puri, parathas, and much more. But what really stood out was their chanay and poori—perfectly spiced and incredibly delicious. If you’re in Quetta, this spot is a must-visit for breakfast lovers! After that, we set out on a road trip to Saranan city, home to the legendary Gulab Hotel, which has been serving its famous Mutton Rosh for over 100 years! Mutton Rosh is one of Balochistan’s most iconic dishes, prepared with slow-cooked lamb, seasoned simply but cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender and flavorful, truly one of the best Mutton Rosh experiences I’ve ever had. On our way to Saranan, we made a quick stop at Yaaro to experience Landi, a unique traditional dried meat that has been part of Baloch culture for centuries. The method of preparing Landi is truly fascinating, and the taste is something every meat lover should try at least once! Balochistan is home to some of the most incredible food experiences in Pakistan. From hearty breakfasts to legendary meat dishes, this journey was all about exploring the deep-rooted food traditions of the region. Every dish had a story to tell, and the hospitality of the people made this trip even more special. If you love Pakistani street food, regional specialties, and hidden gems, then you’re going to love this video! Watch till the end to experience the authentic taste of Balochistan and see why this cuisine is so special. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more street food and travel adventures.
