3D in the Dark! Making Gaussian Splatting in Low Light
This time I'll show you how 3D Gaussian Splatting behaves in low light. Since NeRF models has already shown that they can be created from the material which is shooted in the dark, I decided to try the same with Gaussian Splatting technique. I used my 360 camera to scan loactions in low light and footage turn out to be quite terrible. I was very sceptical when I started to convert the images to point cloud. I was sure that it would not create any good 3D Model out of it. But then I was suprised with the end result.
