Απ' τη Ζωή βγαλμένα: Δεύτερες Ευκαιρίες, με τον Πέτρο Δαμιανό

Στο δέκατο τρίτο επεισόδιο του "Απ’ τη Ζωή Βγαλμένα", η οργανωσιακή ψυχολόγος Ζωή Φράγκου συνομιλεί με έναν άνθρωπο που αφιέρωσε τη ζωή του στο να δίνει δεύτερες ευκαιρίες — συχνά σε παιδιά που δεν είχαν καν μια πρώτη. Ο εκπαιδευτικός και πρώην διευθυντής του Σχολείου Δεύτερης Ευκαιρίας στις Φυλακές Ανηλίκων Αυλώνα, Πέτρος Δαμιανός, μιλά για την εκπαίδευση ως πράξη φροντίδας, για τη δύναμη της εμπιστοσύνης, και για την κοινωνία που συχνά επιλέγει να κοιτά αλλού. Μαζί αναρωτιόμαστε: – Ποιο είναι το κόστος όταν το σχολείο «αποβάλλει» τα πιο ευάλωτα παιδιά; – Πώς στήνεται ένα σχολείο μέσα στις φυλακές και τι διδάσκει, πέρα από μαθήματα; – Πώς επηρεάζει η ταμπέλα του «προβληματικού» μαθητή την πορεία ενός παιδιού; – Τι σημαίνει να ανθίζεις σε ένα περιβάλλον που σου θυμίζει καθημερινά τα λάθη σου; – Γιατί είμαστε τόσο πρόθυμοι να τιμωρούμε — και τόσο επιφυλακτικοί στο να συγχωρούμε; Ένα επεισόδιο για όλους εκείνους που η κοινωνία ξέχασε ν’ αγκαλιάσει. Για τα παιδιά που χρειάζονταν λιγότερη τιμωρία και περισσότερη εμπιστοσύνη.
