After many years of development ZWO has finally announced their Rotator, also known as the Camera Angle Adjuster. This rotator will move your camera sensor to any orientation you want and allow for precise alignments each night. This is especially helpful if you photograph multiple targets throughout the night with different compositions. Plus, the CAA will automatically rotate your guiding calibration data, which is critical if you're using one of the Duo cameras.
Based on my experience with the rotator, I think it's a solid addition to most astro setups. It works well, there are very few (if any) glitches with it, and the build quality seems quite good. The only downside is that it's about the same size and weight as their filter wheels. I was hoping for something a bit smaller.
The CAA will release on December 26th. The price is still TBD, but based on other rotators on the market, this could cost upwards of $600. I based my initial price guess on the costs of their filter wheels, which are generally $300 - $400.
