Zelenskyy says he'll only talk to Putin - and only when a peace plan is in place | Ukraine War

The US does not have a "ready-made plan" to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said. Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Ukraine's leader also said he was not prepared to meet Russian officials during any future peace negotiations - but would meet president Vladimir Putin. Mr Zelenskyy is holding talks with US vice president JD Vance at the conference. Earlier, UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said Kyiv's path to NATO membership was "irreversible", directly contradicting Donald Trump's statements this week that Ukraine would not be joining the alliance. Trump says he will meet Putin in Saudi Arabia to discuss a peace settlement, a move that has angered both Ukraine and its European backers.
