I'm weird and do loads of things that most people do not do (music creation, etc.). Most people will actually be just fine on Linux. Probably. I'm kinda a newb, but I'm going to try to keep this extremely newb-friendly. I think anyone who can install Windows, set up steam, install some games, install Discord, and use their PC can do all that just as well on Linux. We can argue about distros another time.
