This is the story of a Wyoming backcountry elk hunt on public land with a general tag. We hunted 2 different units in 9 days and spent another 3 days packing our bull off the mountain. The hunt started with archery equipment but transitioned to rifle as the gun season opened. We harvested a 326" bull that later became known to us as TIMEX!
