Worst Rated Seaside - Should You Visit Blackpool?

Holidaymakers don't appear to be too impressed with Blackpool as they have ranked the seaside town among the worst in the country. The resort was named a lowly 79th out of 88 coastal towns, with a score of 58%, which was compiled using 4,300 visitor ratings. They were asked to star-rate a number of criteria to generate an overall destination score - average hotel price, beaches, seafront/piers, food and drink, tourist attractions, scenery, shopping, peace and quality and value for money.
