WMD METRON Tricks and Tips - Attenuating Gates for use as CV

The WMD Metron is a powerhouse of rhythm that creates trigger and gate signals that you can send to other modules in your Eurorack system to tell them when to perform their actions. In this video, Alex explains a trick that he commonly uses to control his other modules to create variety and liveliness to the beats he creates. Gates are a 10V signal that is either on or off. This can be used to turn any parameter on another module to the maximum but what if that is too much? That's where attenuation comes in. Use attenuated gates to create subtle changes in decay times for your drum modules, to change a notes mask on arpitecht, or even to create a giant swell of delay.
