Winter sowing is a budget-friendly way to grow plants without grow lights. I like growing perennials as most perennials require a cold-stratification period so this process provides what those seeds need. During this milk jug tour, you will see these seedlings: Anise Hyssop, Artemesia Silver Brocade, Balloon Flower, Cardinal Flower Lobelia, Echinacea, Foxglove, Heliopsis False Sunflower, Hollyhock Mallow, Hollyhock Zebrina, Lupine, Muscari Grape Hyacinth, Obedient Plant, Poppy, Dianthus, Daylily, Salvia, Scabiosa, Sea Holly, Shasta Daisy, Sweet William, and Turtlehead / Chelone. This is how I save a ton of money each year!
