Don’t forget to like and subscribe for more cozy vibes! #wintercoziness #cozyvlog #knittinglife #homecookinga #simpleliving #breakfasttodinner #winteraesthetic #turkeyvlogs #slowlivingvlog #pakistanvlog #january #silentvlog #januaryvlog Easy and delicious Chicken Lasagna recipe: Ingredients For the Tomato Sauce: • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1 medium onion, finely chopped • 2 garlic cloves, minced • 300g (2 cups) cooked chicken, shredded or diced • 2 cups tomato puree or crushed tomatoes • 1 tsp dried oregano • 1 tsp dried basil • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional) • Salt and pepper to taste For the White Sauce (Béchamel): • 2 tbsp butter • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour • 2 cups milk (room temperature) • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional) • Salt and pepper to taste • 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Other Ingredients: • 9–12 lasagna sheets (pre-cooked or no-boil) • 1–2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese for layering • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (optional) Instructions 1. Prepare the Tomato Sauce: 1. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté until soft. 2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. 3. Stir in the cooked chicken and mix well. 4. Add tomato puree, oregano, basil, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside. 2. Make the White Sauce: 1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk continuously for 1–2 minutes (don’t let it brown). 2. Gradually pour in milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. 3. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3–5 minutes. Add nutmeg, salt, pepper, and grated cheese. Mix until smooth. Remove from heat. 3. Assemble the Lasagna: 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). 2. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of tomato sauce at the bottom. 3. Place a layer of lasagna sheets over the sauce. 4. Spread a layer of chicken tomato sauce, followed by white sauce. 5. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top. 6. Repeat the layers (lasagna sheets, tomato sauce, white sauce, cheese) until all ingredients are used. The top layer should be white sauce and cheese. 7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top (optional). 4. Bake the Lasagna: 1. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. 2. Remove the foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Serving: Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
