Why the Sigma fp was ahead of its time

I’m really really impressed with what Sigma was able to do with the fp, especially 5 years ago when this camera was released. The image quality is awesome, and the user experience is super unique. I could see using this camera as a packable travel camera, and at the same time it could pass as a cinema camera brain at the center of a rig.
