Its fossilized remains were discovered in China, providing us with valuable insights into early mammalian evolution. With features similar to modern beavers, otters, and platypuses, this ancient swimming mammal-like animal shows remarkable adaptations including webbed feet, a flat tail, and venomous spurs. As one of the most unique prehistoric mammaliaform discovered, it helps us understand how early mammals lived alongside dinosaurs in the Mesozoic era.
