Why Is It So Hard To Make A RoboCop Game?

But also I figured I’d have a look at RoboCop’s video game outings over the past 35 years and try to figure out: just why is it there’s never been a truly RoboCoppy RoboCop game? I have some thoughts, so I wrote them down and spoke them - but also I looked at the RoboCop games, the RoboCop vs The Terminators, and even the demo of the RoboCop: Rogue Citys of the world - to add a bit of context to it all. I really love RoboCop (1987), but is it even possible to do that character, that world, that story justice in video game form? I hope Teyon can, but I’m a big doubter.
