While I share ways to create a homestead life without land or livestock and learn skills you can apply to your future homestead, the truth is, the REST of life (balancing a full time work schedule, caring for family, handling the ups and downs of life that impact us ALL) can throw curve balls that can make chasing a dream very difficult at times.
